"Quite simply one of the best dance and music theater shows I've ever seen"
Marquis W Howell II, bass player/ band leader (LA, CA)
Radio Hermitage is a one woman show with a live jazz quartet, that combines dance and theatre in a unique new setting. The culmination of 6 years research, the show intertwines a history of jazz dance with the personal story of a Russian girl escaping a tragic moment in her life through a radio station. It is here she discovers jazz and embodies it’s many faces. While travelling the milestones of Jazz from it’s Roots to Bebop, through Charleston, Blues and Swing, she reveals the timeless power, depth and raw energy of African American dance and music.
"To us, life with its rhythms and cycles is dance, and dance is life" A.M Opoku
